Not only that, the singer has decided to present a brand new playlist to the audience for the gig — old and almost forgotten Bengali folk songs. “For many years, I’ve been loved by people purely for my contribution to Chandrabindoo’s music. But my childhood soundscape was filled with rustic folk songs from various artistes of Bengal. I suddenly felt the urge to pay a tribute to my childhood songs,” said the artiste.
