Violin Brothers to start a new Rabindrasangeet project

, who are more popularly known as Violin Brothers, are working on a fusion Rabindrasangeet project. Deb

said they are working on eight songs in total. “We are adding parts of western

classical music

to some famous Rabindrasangeet to give a different feel,” he added. The songs will be released as an album and will be dedicated to the cancer patients. “Soumya Bhattacharya, a US-based doctor, is associated with us in this,” said Deb Sankar.

Besides this, Violin Brothers are also busy with a

French

project. The duo have recently joined hands with Olivia Villeroy, a French singer, and are arranging the music for a symphony. “Very soon she will perform in a

symphony

and we have designed the entire sound of the concert,” said Deb Sankar.
