films. The
trailer
of her debut Punjabi film '
Aasra
' is out and has received a positive response from the audience.
In the film,
Rani will be seen playing the lead role as a housewife opposite famous Punjabi actor Gugu Gill, who is seen playing the role of an alcoholic husband. In the trailer, the Bhojpuri
actress
has transformed into a true-blue Punjabi and also speaks the language.
'Aasra' is written and directed by Balkar Singh and produced by Raj Kumar. The movie also features other stars such as Tinu Verma and Shubham Kashyap. On the work front, Rani is currently busy shooting for her Bhojpuri film 'Lady Singham' which also stars Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor.
