One of the popular directors of Bhojpuri cinema, Manjul Thakur, expressed his opinion on movies releasing on digital platforms. He has worked with almost all the big stars in the industry and received applause for his work.
At an event, Manjul revealed the reason why Bhojpuri films are not getting screens. He explained, "As directors, we always prefer to watch our films on the big screen, but we are not getting great vibes from the theatre for Bhojpuri films. As a result, the only platforms we have currently for our films are digital and OTT.
"If I get some power to do anything for the growth of Bhojpuri cinema, then I will screen our films in every theatre, and we will show the business of 50 crores on that same day," the filmmaker stated.
On the work front, Manjul is currently working on the film 'Service Wali Bahuriya'. It stars Kajal Raghwani and Anand Ojha in the lead roles. The makers have not revealed the release date yet.
