, passed away due to COVID-19 on Thursday. A few days back, he returned from Kumbh Mela before he got the virus. He was admitted to Mumbai's SL Raheja Hospital on Monday in a reportedly critical condition.

While speaking to ETimes, Vinay Anand, who was close to Shravan Rathod and his family, revealed that he is in shock since he got news of his demise. The actor stated, "No doubt, he was a legend and the whole world knows it very well. I knew him personally and his son Sanjeev is my good friend. He wanted to make a

film and he had signed me but because of some reason, it didn't go on the floor."

Anand added, "He was such a good and loveable person I have ever seen. He always used to meet very politely with everyone and doesn't have any boast. He was very down to earth including the whole family. I am in shock and upset that we have lost such a nice person."

Shravan along with composer Nadeem Saifi made music for popular films such as 'Aashiqui', 'Dhadkan', 'Judaai', 'Saajan', 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke', 'Pardes' and 'Raja Hindustani' and others. Nadeem-Shravan parted ways in the 2000s and later reunited in 2009 to compose for the David Dhawan-directed film 'Do Knot Disturb'.
