Shweta Tiwari became a household name after the success of her television serial ‘Kasauti Zindagi Kay’. The actress, who parted ways with her husband Raja Chaudhary, ending their nine-year-old relationship, is currently married to actor Abhinav Kohli and has two kids; daughter Palak and a son Reyansh. Bhojpuri film ‘Hamaar Saiyan Hindustani’ was Shweta Tiwari’s debut Bhojpuri film. Along with Shweta Tiwari, Ravi Kishan and her ex-husband Raja Chaudhary played lead roles in the film. In the film, Shweta plays the character of Radha, whose family disapprove the person she loves and decides to marry her off to a wealthy guy. However, she sticks with the person she loves. But her past soon comes to haunt her.

‘Ae Bhauji Ke Sister’ starring Manoj Tiwari and Shweta Tiwari was a hit in the Bhojpuri industry in the year 2010. The film tells a story of a boy who falls in love with his elder brother’s sister-in-law. But, the couple finds it hard to convince their respective family members. Along with Shweta and Manoj, the film also featured Raza Murad, Mukesh Khanna and Surendra Pal who play a pivotal role in the film.

Bhojpuri film ‘Kab Aibu Anganwa Hamar’ has shown one of a good work of politician-actor Manoj Tiwari. Shweta Tiwari played in opposite with Manoj Tiwari and has done some hot scenes in the film. The movie was based on a village love story, directed by Sanjay Tripathi.
