Bhojpuri film industry has given many blockbusters to the audience and almost all the films have a central romantic theme. The story and structure of a romantic movie are that a beautiful man and woman meet, take some time to fall in love, then an unexpected crisis brings us to the interval. Bhojpuri cinema is mainly known for action and item songs but some of them have given the real flavour of love. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, here we give you a rundown of best romantic Bhojpuri movies to watch.

This romantic Bhojpuri film features one of the hit on-screen pairs of Bhojpuri cinema Khesari Lal Yadav and Kajal Raghwani. The movie also has some romantic numbers which have been crooned by the lead actor himself. The romantic film was directed by Premanshu Singh and jointly produced by Seema Devi Rungta and Anand Kumar Rungta. Other actors such as Ashok Samarth and Sanjay Mahanand were also seen in the supporting roles. Popular Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh and Shubhi Sharma also made a special appearance in the film.

‘Dulhan Chahi Pakistan Se 2’ is a sequel of 2016 Bhojpuri movie ‘Dulhan Chahi Pakistan Se’. The second part was written, directed and even produced by Rajkumar R Pandey. The film features Pradeep Pandey and Surabhi Shukla in lead roles. The Bollywood star Rahul Dev also seen in a negative role in the movie. While other Bhojpuri stars like Shubhi Sharma, Monalisa, KK Goswami, Priyanka Pandit, Shakeela Majeed and Aditya Ozha can be seen in supporting roles.

The romantic Bhojpuri film ‘Dulhan Ganga Paar Ke’ also marks the debut of Khesari Lal Yadav’s daughter Kriti. It was an action-romantic drama starring Khesari and Kajal Raghwani in a lead role. The movie was by Aslam Sheikh and produced by Dr Arvind Anand. Popular Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey also made a special appearance in the song ‘Marad Abhi Baccha Ba’ which was loved by the audience.

The real-life couple Monalisa and Vikrant Singh Rajput starrer romantic film ‘Prem Leela’ was released in 2015. The movie also stars Amit Mehra, Rajesh Tomar, Priya Singh, Naval and Manoj Verma. Director Sushil Kumar Upadhyay and produced by Sushil Kumar Upadhyay. The music is composed by Madhukar Anand and the story was penned by Sanjay Roy.

Bhojpuri film ‘Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna’ is one of the biggest hit of Bhojpuri cinema. The movie feature one of the most loved on-screen couple of Bhojpuri film industry Khesari Lal Yadav and Kajal Raghwani. It was written and directed by Rajnish Mishra and produced by Ananjay Raghuraj. The film also stars Ritu Singh, Sanjay Mahanand, Sanjay Pandey and Karan Pandey. The music was composed by Rajnish Mishra while lyrics penned by Pyare Lal Yadav and Shyam Dehati.
