'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ led by Freya Allan and directed by Wes Ball, continues its domination at the box office across the globe. The film has minted nearly US $ 200 million till now, out of which US $ 40 million has come from overseas markets. The film in India started on a good note, but as the first week progressed, it began losing steam, and in the second weekend, the film seems to be struggling to maintain its steady run.

The film minted Rs 18.85 crore in its first week and on Friday, collected Rs 95 lakh. The collection on Saturday jumped to reach Rs 1.5 crore, and on Sunday the numbers reached Rs 1.8 crore as per early estimates by Sacnilk. The second weekend collection of the film stands at Rs 4.25 crore, of which Rs 1.6 crore came from the English version, and Rs 2.10 crore from Hindi. The total collection of the film now stands at 23.10 crore. 'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ would require a major change of fortune in the coming days if it wants to have an extended run at the Indian box office.
