'Avengers:Endgame' released early this year in April, but it continues to make headlines or get talked about months after its release. Even as the film is attempting to break 'Avatar's worldwide box-office record, news is that the scene where

(Chris Evans), who's shown to be retiring and returning to

Peggy Carter

, the love of his life was not shot during the filming of 'Endgame'. In fact, it had already been shot two years ago in 2017.

This revelation came from actress Hayley Atwell, who played the role of Peggy. The actress, in an interview with an international film website, also said that she found the ending of Captain America's track "endearing, innocent and wholesome". She added that it was very tasteful of Marvel to finish the 10-year-story in a simple storyline about two human beings. She found the track ending with two people slow-dancing very beautiful. For Marvel fans, however, 'Endgame' was an emotional experience as it saw the end of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).

Directed by Russo brothers, the ensemble cast of 'Endgame' also featured Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany.
