Amanda to star in Gulliver's Travels
'Love Actually' star Amanda Peet has joined the cast of Fox's adventure caper 'Gulliver's Travels' opposite Jack Black.
The film, an adaptation of Jonathan Swift's classic story, also stars Jason Segel and Emily Blunt in key roles.
'Monsters vs Aliens' co-director Rob Letterman is helming the project, which has been written by Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman, the Hollywood Reporter said.
The film's story follows travel writer Lemuel Gulliver played by Black, who heads to an assignment in the Bermuda Triangle only to end up on the secret island of Lilliput, home to a population of industrious tiny people.
Peet will play Black's editor and potential romantic interest. The shooting of project began last month.
Peet's last film was 'The X-Files: I Want to Believe.' She next stars in Roland Emmerich's apocalyptic thriller '2012,' set to hit theaters this November.
