'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' new trailer, poster, and release date are out

When Astrid says Betelgeuse's name three times, she accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife, bringing Betelgeuse back and causing havoc. The film explores the challenges and spooky adventures that follow this accidental summoning.
Tim Burton returns to direct the sequel, reuniting with original cast members Winona Ryder (Lydia Deetz), Catherine O’Hara, and Michael Keaton (Betelgeuse). New additions to the cast include Jenna Ortega, Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux, Arthur Conti, and Monica Bellucci. The script was written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, with contributions from Seth Grahame-Smith. The film is produced by Burton, Tommy Harper, Plan B, Marc Toberoff, and David Geffen.
