The deadly fires caused havoc in the neighbourhood of Southern California, making many of the residents run to the hotels in Beverly Hills. Affleck bought his home as a ‘bachelor pad’ for USD 20 million, leaving USD 68 million he once shared with his ex-wife, after the divorce settlement with Jennifer Lopez. He escaped the disaster and travelled to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s house who lives near to his current house to check on his children.

According to the reports by Blast, the fire which began as a brush fire at 10:30 am on Tuesday expanded quickly to 2,921 acres due to intense Santa Ana winds, creating dangerous evacuation conditions. This state of fire occurred due to extreme fire conditions and powerful winds in the locality. The Los Angeles Fire Department has been working tirelessly to rescue citizens, while the Governor has declared a state of emergency.

According to TMZ, he was spotted with a grin while he checked for his neighbours’ safety. He reportedly hugged an acquaintance before travelling to Garner’s residence.

The fires not only caused distress to the residences but Lopez’s premiere was also affected. Her film ‘Unstoppable’ was going to premiere on Tuesday but it got cancelled. One of the producers of the film is Ben Affleck, he contributed when they were allegedly on good terms.

According to Architectural Digest, Garner has been living on USD 53,271 a month just a few blocks away from Affleck, while her Brentwood Farmhouse has ongoing renovation.
