BTS: Dating history of the k-pop stars

With the arrival of BTS in 2013, it was truly evident they would play by new rules. The young stars have crafted a niche for themselves, as they have an edge with their elements with slick aesthetics along with amazing choreography. The boys have been ruling millions of hearts all over the globe and have become the biggest sensation. With millions of albums sold, the group has been giving sold-out performances with over-packed stadiums. In addition to this, a lot of western music artists have also worked with the Korean boy band to deliver massive hits. Ahead of their upcoming projects, here’s a look at their dating history

One of the most popular members of the band had earlier admitted having a girlfriend. On a talk show, RM opened up about his high school relationship. But during an interview with Billboard back in 2017, RM gained a lot of fo attention when the interviewer asked him about the group’s album Love Yourself. Fans have been quite suspicious after RM’s answer, wondering if he had a secret girlfriend.

There were speculations and rumours about Jin dating comedienne Lee Guk Joo, back in 2015. This began when South Korean comedian Jo Se Ho publicly cracked a joke that Lee Guk Joo was dating a handsome idol trainee. The rumours caught even more attention but were denied when Jin and Lee Guk Koo said they are just close friends.

During the middle school days, Suga fell in love with a fellow classmate, and submitted a love letter to a local radio host, as he was shy and wasn’t vocal about his true feelings. After dating that classmate for a while, they broke up as it didn’t really work out. During an interview, Suga stated that he is currently focusing on his job and music, and he isn’t in a relationship.

J-Hope confessed about being in a relationship in the past. But his girlfriend broke up with him as she fell in love with another man. Surprisingly, there hasn’t been any rumours or speculations about him being in any other relationships.

Back in 2015, there have been rumours, that V was tied to Red Velvet’s Joy. Neither party confirmed nor denied the rumours. During an interview, V also opened up about his one-sided love story from the past and had planned to confess to her, but she never picked up the phone. The member also confessed to having multiple girlfriends in the past which weren’t serious.

During a press conference, KARA’s Han Seung-yeon confessed that she fancied Jimin after seeing him. Fans went wild with speculation. Seung-yeon later came back out and shared it was just a girl crush and nothing serious between the two of them. Jimin had also confessed about having a one-sided love story in the past. Although he has faced dating rumours with other idols, all were proven to be fake. The artist has never publicly admitted to having been in a relationship with anyone.

One of the heartthrobs of the band, Jungkook has easily been linked up to the most women in 2020. From DIA’s Jung Chae Yeon to Blackpink’s Lisa, the ever female artist has been rumoured to be dating Jungkook. Currently, there have been speculations that Jungkook’s girlfriends are Lisa, and an ex-girlfriend of his, Sewon. However, there’s no evidence proving either relationship is real though. In the past, he had a couple of rumoured girlfriends before making his debut. One of them being a fellow classmate by the name of Park Se Won after fans claimed to stumble across a picture of them.
