Charlie Sheen sentenced to rehab

Actor Charlie Sheen was Monday sentenced to 30 days of rehab in Malibu's luxury Promises celebrity rehab centre after pleading guilty to a third-degree domestic violence charge for his Christmas-day confrontation with wife Brooke Mueller.

Sheen, 44, already spent more than a month at theretreat earlier this year to work on his problems, and will credited for timeserved, celebrity website TMZ reported.The star of the series "Twoand a Half Men" pleaded guilty to the misdemeanour assault charge in Aspen,Colorado, where the confrontation with his wife sparked the case.Thecouple, who have one-year-old twins and are "trying to work things out", usedthe same celebrity lawyer, Yale Galanter, in the case.
