Actress Christina Ricci said she begun to care more about her work as she got older.

The 36-year-old actress made her movie debut in 1990 feature 'Mermaids' alongside Cher and Bob Hoskins before appearing '90s hits 'The Addams Family' and 'Casper'.

For a long time Christina simply turned up on set to shoot her scenes then left, barely keeping in contact with anyone afterwards, but working on her new Amazon series 'Z: The Beginning of Everything' has changed her entire outlook on acting.

"I didn't know what it really felt like to care that much about a project. Then while I was doing this I was like, 'Oh, so this is what was going on for that other person when they were acting like this!' That's one of the things about growing up - you realise you've got to care about something," Ricci said.
