What better way to spend a rainy day than to watch your two favourite action heroes on the big screen? Get set for some deadly action this July as
Harrison Ford and
Daniel Craig saddle up together in DreamWorks Studios and Reliance Entertainment’s Cowboys and Aliens. Directed by Jon Favreau of Iron Man 1 and 2 fame, this is the first time that Ford (Indiana Jones and Star Wars) and Craig, best known for his role as James Bond, will be seen together on screen.
Cowboys and Aliens is a combination of mystery and explosive action, which the duo has been doing with aplomb in their previous movies.
DreamWorks has revealed the official plot synopsis since the film is based on the comic book series with the same name — Craig plays a stranger, who has suffered from memory loss. He lands in a town, which is not open to strangers and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel played by Ford.
The Indiana Jones veteran actor said that he enjoyed filming the scenes on horseback and hinted that his role is similar to his Morning Glory character. He added, “It’s a very different kind of movie and I was very happy to do it. It felt great to be outside the whole time on a horse and play a grumpy old man!”
Both actors are expected to ride into London for its UK premiere. Cowboys and Aliens releases in India on July 29.
