Jennifer, Austin, Riley, and Lula Lynch shared a heartfelt message on January 18 through their father’s X account. “David Lynch, our beloved dad, was a guiding light of creativity, love, and peace,” they wrote, reflecting on his profound influence on their lives and the world. To commemorate his birthday on January 20, the family organized a global guided meditation event, inviting people from around the world to participate.

The meditation session, held at midnight lasted for 10 minutes. The children encouraged everyone to come together in spirit, writing, “Let us unite, wherever we are, to celebrate his legacy by meditating, reflecting, and sharing peace with the universe.” The event beautifully reflected Lynch’s long-standing advocacy for transcendental meditation, a practice he often credited for fueling his creative genius and achieving inner peace.

The family concluded their message by expressing gratitude to those who joined in honoring the director’s memory. This touching tribute not only highlighted his love for meditation but also served as a reminder of the lasting impact his work and philosophy have on fans and loved ones alike.

Lynch’s personal life was as intricate as his art. He shared his eldest daughter, Jennifer with his first wife, Peggy Reavey.
