Li Yun Peng and Xu Ziyin part ways

As per reports from Japanese news media outlet Toniboriday, the couple has officially broken up after dating for a long time. The actress also revealed as to why the breakup happened in the first place. She indirectly revealed that some of her romance-based roles in recent dramas and shorts led to the breakup.

There had been rumors floating around about how, while for the actress, such scenes were nothing beyond a part of her work, her boyfriend was unable to deal with the scenarios anymore, which led to the two of them mutually choosing to part ways.

The actress did not directly address the rumors; however, she stated that, “I love acting – it’s both my job and my dream.” She also added that the two had fought hard to sustain their relationship and had tried their level best to keep their relationship steady. It was also revealed by her that it was Yun Peg who initiated the breakup, and that she chose to respect his decision.

The actress had earlier made headlines for her romance roles only, where she had managed to shoot 99 kiss scenes in only a matter of 10 days.

Yun Peng also held a live stream where he admitted that he is no longer in a relationship, while also confirming that despite everything, the breakup was done mutually and peacefully. The actor had stated, “She’s not my girlfriend anymore – your news is a bit out of date! I can finally say I’m officially single now,” announcing his newly single relationship status.
