Golden Globe Awards 2023 Live Updates: Rajinikanth thanks Keeravani, Rajamouli for the Golden Globe win!

When you meet great people like him, they leave their footprints in your heart. Keeravani ji has a special place in my heart. The amount of respect I have in my heart is unimaginable. I wanted to express my heart out, I'm so glad that a man of his calibre got this global recognition. We were a magical team. I'm so proud of him!

I was wondering why he is not getting the respect. He is at par with AR Rahman. Rahman is a genius, but when Rahman got all what he got, I wondered, why didn't Keeravani get what he deserved. So, I feel this is a divine intervention. It's God sent now.

I literally jumped with joy when I heard the news. I am delighted beyond words that a talented genius like MM Kreem is finally getting his to global recognition which I felt was overdue to him. He is a volcano and an ocean of talent. He's one of the finest composers I have met in my life of a man who is 100 percent heart and only heart. All his compositions come from a very pure source. Music has always been my forte and he gave me one of my all time classics, 'Tun Mile Dil Khile' and then 'Gali Mein Aaj Chand Nikla'. Working with him was such a pleasure.

It is very encouraging to be recognised on a global platform and what I am happiest about is that Naatu Naatu won as Naatu Naatu and not some dubbed dance song. It is amazing that people have enjoyed the song for what it is in the language that it was meant to be

I am extremely happy that Naatu Naatu has won the Best Original song at the Golden Globe Awards 2023. It is very well deserved and congratulations to MM Keeravaani, SS Rajamouli and the entire RRR team. RRR was a supremely entertaining, quintessential theatrical experience for me, I had a blast watching RRR in the theatre. Naatu Naatu was one of the high points of the movie, along with the scene where a caged Jr NTR gets unleashed with other wild animals

Naatu Naatu is all about joy and celebration and that's exactly what we are all feeling right now! Hearing this song on the set when it was being shot in Kiev, we all felt something special happening, but at that time I don't think anyone imagined we'd be where we are now. I hope Hollywood and the rest of the world also now take note of MM Keeravani Garu's huge body of work. Naatu Naatu is just one of so many masterpieces.

I would like to congratulate Keeravani ji. It’s a piece of great news and we're proud of him. I was blessed to sing 'Soja zara', from 'Bahubali 2' for him. He deserved it and a lot more.

MM Keervani is full of surprises. During 'Baahubali' I remember, he had said that 'Kanha Soja Zara' is a romantic bhajan (chuckles) and interestingly, he made this song keeping Lata ji in his mind and I was the luckiest person to sing it.

I remember while working with Ram Gopal Verma for 'Kshana Kshanam', that film had Mr. Keeravani's songs which were wonderful. I wish the entire team of 'RRR' many congratulations.

The film impressed the Japanese, the west, and now Americans. So it's a proud moment for all of us. Though I haven't met Rajamouli, I have seen all his movies and I have no words for Mr MM Keeravani, he has done a fabulous job not just in south films but also in Bollywood. He has some fantastic masterpieces to his credit, 'Naatu Naatu' is just one of them

It was a great morning to wake up with great news of the 'RRR' song 'Naatu Naatu's big win at the Golden Globes Awards. The 'RRR' team has taken India to a global level and made everyone proud of it. Especially Mr. SS Rajamouli who has not inspired Indian directors but also impressed international filmmakers and the audience as well with his brilliant filmmaking craft. His vision has taken Indian cinema to the next level.

The Golden Globe makes me proud on three levels. Firstly, I am proud as an Indian that our film and song have got us such global recognition. Secondly I feel happy as a family since Rajamouli is my son and Keeravani is my nephew. And thirdly I feel proud as a part of the RRR team. I think we are blessed by divinity. There are so many other equally deserving songs and films. But they don’t get the same recognition. I am always proud of my son and nephew. But this time I am a little prouder than usual.

I would love to work with a top director here (in Hollywood). I want them to to experience us.

Coming to the Mecca of films and being appreciated, it gives us the energy to come back and do better films.
