Wolverine star Hugh Jackman shocked fans on Friday when he announced that he and his wife of 27 years are to separate. The actor, in a joint statement, assured that the decision to divorce was 'amicable'. The Jackmans aren't the only celeb couple to part ways after decades together. From Ashish Vidyarthi and Piloo to Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, here's a list of celebrity couples who called it quits on their marriage after more than 20 years together.

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Jackman announced their separation, five months after they marked their 27th anniversary with a loved-up social media post. "We have been blessed to share almost (three) decades as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth," read the couple's joint statement first reported by People magazine.

Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi made headlines early this year when he tied the knot with Rupali Barua. The actor's marriage came just a year after his divorce from his wife of 22 years, Rajoshi (Piloo). Amidst all sorts of social media allegations and rumours, Ashish put out a video explaining his decision to wed again saying that both Piloo and he decided to pull the plug on their marriage after several conversations and even seeking professional help. "We made a full effort, but we discovered that it was not going to work," he said while adding that they were looking at the future 'differently'.

After 28 years and welcoming five children together, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus ended their marriage. The estranged couple filed for divorce in 2022, after spending 2 years separately. Tish quickly found love again and wed Prison Break star Dominic Purcell in a low-key wedding in the presence of their families and closest friends.

Bollywood power couple Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jesia also left fans shocked when they announced their split after 20 years of marriage. The couple reportedly decided to part ways mutually and share custody of their two children – Mahikaa and Myra. The couple released an official statement to the Bombay Times which read, "After a 20-year-long beautiful journey filled with love and beautiful memories, we would like to share, that all journeys have different paths. We feel that it is time for us to move on to different destinations henceforth."

Just three months after celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, Jennifer Flavin filed for divorce from her husband Sylvester Stallone on Aug. 19, 2022. Amidst wild allegations about the split, Stallone clarified that they didn't have a falling-out over a dog. In a statement to TMZ, the actor proclaimed his love for his wife and their daughters saying, "I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues." After a month, the couple reconciled and called off the divorce.
