Jennifer Lopez is taking on a musical film role with ‘.’ The film recently had its premiere in New York, where the newly divorced couple attended the event. Affleck and were seen posing on the red carpet and laughing. Photos from the event have managed to go viral online.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who officially got divorced 7 months ago, were seen laughing and smiling at one another at the premiere of the actress’s latest film, ‘The Kiss of The Spider Woman.’



The two were seen sporting extravagant outfits for the night, with Lopez featuring a tight updo with a bun, heavy and smoky makeup to accentuate her looks, along with a gorgeous, floral green and black gown. What made the outfit even more unique was the fact that it had a moon-shaped green corset accessory to help her stand out from the crowd.

Ben Affleck, on the other hand, was wearing a contrasting dark navy blue blazer along with a crisp white button-up underneath. The actor chose not to accessorize and instead wore matching sleek pants, along with black shiny shoes.

While Jennifer Lopez plays the leading lady in the new film, Affleck is also connected with it, hence the reason why he attended the event. The ‘Batman’ actor, along with Matt Damon, served as co-producers for the musical feature.

About ‘The Kiss of a Spider Woman’

The film follows the story of a political prisoner named Valentin, who is roommates with a mysterious man named Molina. The two become close and form a bond under the harsh and unforgiving climate of the prison. During their time together, Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood movie which starred his favourite actress of all time, Ingrid Luna (who is played by Jennifer Lopez).
