Jennifer Lopez arrives at Udaipur, rehearses ‘On The Floor’ ahead of grand Mantena–Gadiraju wedding

Jennifer Lopez has touched down in India for one of the grandest weddings of the year, as Netra Mantena, daughter of US-based billionaire Rama Raju Mantena, prepares to marry Superorder co-founder Vamsi Gadiraju. This marks Lopez’s second visit to India, nearly a decade after she performed at the lavish Sanjay Hinduja–Anu Mahtani wedding in Udaipur in 2015.

Ahead of her main act, several videos of Lopez rehearsing at the Udaipur venue have gone viral. Shared by Team Gangaur Ghat Udaipur on Instagram, the clips show her practising her smash hit ‘On The Floor’ with a full team of backup dancers. Even in rehearsal mode, Lopez’s stage presence was unmistakable as she belted out vocals and moved with her signature sharp choreography and high-energy charisma.

Lopez arrived in Udaipur on Saturday, November 22, and her airport moment instantly became the talk of the internet. As she waved and blew kisses at photographers, members of the paparazzi repeatedly shouted, “Welcome to India, Rihanna ma’am,” mistakenly identifying her as the Barbadian superstar. JLo, dressed in an oversized brown fur coat, dark sunglasses, black heels and a sleek ponytail, smiled politely before heading to her car.

Bollywood stars ignite the sangeet night

The celebrations kicked off with a glamorous sangeet on Friday, November 21. Ranveer Singh set the stage on fire with a high-voltage performance, followed by power-packed acts from Janhvi Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez. Their performances electrified the evening and set a thrilling tone for the days ahead.

Meanwhile, the mehendi ceremony was equally dazzling. Madhuri Dixit delivered a breathtaking medley, performing ‘Dola Re Dola’, ‘Dholida’, ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Rangilo Maaro Dholna’ and more. Dia Mirza hosted the event with her signature grace. Meanwhile, Nora Fatehi also brought her A-game, performing her biggest dance hits and even singing parts live, earning huge cheers from the guests.
