Kelly Osbourne has clapped back at trolls shaming her for her new slimmer physique. The singer, in a social media post, came out against online body-shaming and those leaving hurtful comments about her appearance, after she took to the stage at the Brit Awards to accept her late father, Ozzy Osbourne's, posthumous lifetime achievement award.

“There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something,” she wrote on her Instagram story and went on to add, “Kicking me while I’m down, doubting my pain, spreading my struggles as gossip, and turning your back when I need support and love most.”

“None of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character,” Kelly wrote on Instagram. “I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself. But I won’t sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way!”Ozzy Osbourne died on 22 July 2025 at the age of 76. Kelly and her mother, Sharon Osbourne, attended Saturday’s ceremony to accept the honour on his behalf.

In the months following her father’s death, Kelly has repeatedly addressed the trolling over her appearance and shocking weight loss over the past months. In February, she shared a couple of nasty comments she received about her weightloss. The comments suggested that she "looks like a dead body". Kelly, in her Instagram stories, slammed the trolls, saying, "Literally can't believe how disgusting some human beings truly are! No one deserves this sort of abuse!" “To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like ‘Are you ill,’ or ‘Get off Ozempic, you don’t look right.’ My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family,” she said. “So to all those people, f*** off.”

Sharon Osbourne also defended her daughter in an interview with Piers Morgan, saying, “She’s lost her daddy, she can’t eat right now.”
