While this renewal ensures ongoing projects, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the new deal is somewhat scaled back compared to the original arrangement. Alongside this, the streaming service has also teamed up with Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, expanding the scope of their partnership.

The original five-year deal between Archewell Productions and the streaming service was set to expire this September. However, both parties chose to renew their contract ahead of the deadline to continue working together. The partnership has already produced a range of content, including popular projects such as ‘Harry & Meghan’, ‘Heart of Invictus’ and ‘Live to Lead’.

Expressing pride, Meghan Markle said in a statement, “We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand.”

As the new deal was announced on August 11, the Duchess of Sussex added, “My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”

Success of ‘With Love, Meghan’

One of the standout recent projects from Archewell Productions is the series ‘With Love, Meghan’, which has become the most-watched culinary show on the streaming service. It attracted 5.3 million viewers in the first half of 2025 alone. A second season of ‘With Love, Meghan’ is scheduled to premiere later this month.

Upcoming projects

Looking ahead, the media Harry and Meghan’s company plans to focus on a special holiday episode titled ‘With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration’, set to air in December on the streaming platform. Another exciting project in development is ‘Meet Me at the Lake’, an adaptation of Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel, which promises to bring heartfelt storytelling to the screen.
