Met Gala debuts: From Sunday Rose to Lila Moss, the most iconic celeb kids debut over the years
Over the years, a lot of celebrity kids have made their debuts at the Met Gala. May it be them independently attending the event and making their debut, or accompanying their parents on the famed red carpet stairs. From Sunday Rose to Lila Grace Moss, here are some of the most iconic celebrity kids’ debuts at the Met Gala.
Sunday Rose Kidman Urban
Daughter of Nicole Kidman and country singer Keith Urban, Sunday Rose made her official Met Gala debut this year. Since she is 17 years old, she officially could not attend the Gala, however, she still made it as she was accompanied by her mother, the ‘Scarpetta’ actress. While Kidman chose to go for a red and bold look, her daughter contrasted her with a floor-length lilac dress with a billowing bodice. Her dress was covered with 3D florals, meaning to represent the first bloom of the season.
Blue Ivy
Blue Ivy, Beyonce and Jay Z’s 14 year old daughter also attended the Met Gala this year. Supporting her mother on her return to the Gala after almost 10 years, Blue Ivy wore an all-white ensemble, choosing to wear an ankle-length and shoulderless dress. Her fit featured a fitted bodice, while the skirt was puffed up and inwardly folded at the end. She opted for a cape jacket in the same colour, along with a pair of sunglasses. She also opted to keep her jewelry minimalistic, opting for a pair of diamond studs and a diamond necklace, along with studded heels.
Gracie Abrams
Singer Gracie Abrams, daughter of Katie McGrath and J.J Abrams, also made her debut at this year’s Met Gala. While she attended the event on her own, her style for the night was nothing short of artistic. She wore a stunning floor-length dress designed by Matthieu Blazy. Featuring off shoulder sleeves along with a halter neckline embellished with jewels, Harper’s Bazaar reported that her look for the night was inspired by the works of Austrian painter Gustav Klimt. Her dress was further covered with a geometric ensemble, featuring the artist’s well-known use of gold leaf in his paintings.
Lila Grace Moss
Lila Grace Moss, the only daughter of Kate Moss and Jefferson Hack, was another celebrity kid whose debut was nothing short of iconic. She made her Met Gala debut back in 2022 and walked the carpet with her mother by her side. Following the theme of ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion’ that year, Lila had worn an embellished nude look with studded gems covering the bodice, while her mother had worn a contrasting all black and elegant gown to the fashion event. At the time, while talking to Vogue, Lila had cited that “My look is modern and feels young while still being elegant and chic.”
Brandon Thomas Lee
Last year, Pamela Anderson made headlines with her eccentric look at the Met Gala event. What caught the netizens’ attention for the night, however, was how she was accompanied by her son, Brandon Thomas Lee, in his Met Gala debut. Following the theme of ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’, the duo had worn contrasting clothes to go with the event. While Brandon had opted for a classic black and white suit with a bowtie, his mother had worn a bodycon dress with embellishments covering the piece from head to toe.
Evan Ross
Evan Ross made his Met Gala debut at the 2025 edition of the fundraising event. He accompanied his mother, Diana Ross, on the red carpet last year. The American singer and actor posed along with his mother, and even helped her out with her long, billowing train that was a part of her iconic and bedazzling dress. As for young Ross, he opted to wear flared black pants and a deep neck white shirt, which he paired with a studded cross necklace and an embellished black jacket with shoulder pads. He had accompanied his mother to support her on her return to the Met Gala since her last appearance in 2003.
