Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx and Brie Larson fight for justice in 'Just Mercy' trailer

Destin Daniel Cretton teamed up with Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx to tell a true story of attorney Bryan Stevenson's fight for justice for a criminal in their upcoming film 'Just Mercy'.

Michael will be seen as Bryan while Jamie is playing the role of a criminal. The makers of the film have dropped the trailer the powerful drama over the internet today. Stevenson heads to Alabama to work on a case of Walter McMillian who was sentenced for the 1987 murder of an 18-year-old girl. The trailer ends with Michael saying, "If we look at ourselves closely, we can change this world for the better. We all need grace, we all need mercy".

With this, Cretton reunites with Brie Larson after 'Short Term 12' and 'The Glass Castle'. The film also stars Rob Morgan, Tim Blake Nelson, Rafe Spall, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Karan Kendrick.

The film will hit the theatres in January 2020.
