In a surprise Instagram post, the film's official handle released a black and white poster of the film's logo and announced the scheduled release date of July 2, 2025.

Filmmaker David Leitch is reportedly currently in negotiations to helm the upcoming film, marking a significant addition to the renowned franchise. Production house, Universal Pictures, confirmed the theatrical release through an announcement on their handle.

Renowned screenwriter David Koepp, acclaimed for penning Steven Spielberg's original blockbuster 'Jurassic Park' in 1993 and its 1997 sequel 'Jurassic Park: The Lost World', has been called in to script the film. While it is said to be a follow-up to 2022 blockbuster 'Jurassic World Dominion'., this new instalment is poised to kick off a fresh storyline, introducing a new chapter in the series that has spanned three decades.

Reports suggest that the forthcoming film is set to launch a "new Jurassic era," hinting at a storyline distinct from previous films. Buzz is that the characters portrayed by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, may not return for this new instalment.

Likewise, characters played by Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum from the original 'Jurassic Park', who made their cameos in the last film, are unlikely to return in this fourth film.

Spielberg will be producing the film alongside Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley.
