Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey buy George Clooney's mansion for $14.5 million

Model Olivia Culpo and her husband, NFL star Christian McCaffrey, have purchased a Los Angeles mansion previously owned by actor George Clooney, according to TMZ.

The mansion is Fryman Canyon estate, and the couple shelled out an estimated $14.5 million for the plush pad. The 7,000 square foot mansion includes six bedrooms and provides enough privacy since it is surrounded by very dense trees.

The estate, on 3.1 acres, has several luxury extras. There is a guesthouse set apart from the main structure along with a large swimming pool and tennis court, too. The house boasts a storied past of celebrity ownerships-starting with the purchase from Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks in 1995 by Clooney, now 63 for $2.2 million. He had owned the mansion for nearly three decades before selling it to Culpo and McCaffrey.




Clooney, who married wife Amal in 2014, also owns other properties scattered across the globe, including homes in Italy, Mexico, England, New York City, and France.

Culpo and McCaffrey just got married in a Rhode Island wedding earlier this year. The model, 32, already possesses a $3.5 million home in the Encino neighbourhood of Los Angeles before this new buy.

This adds to a long list of celebrities who once called this estate home, referred to as the Fryman Canyon mansion. Culpo and McCaffrey are the newest names to add to the roll of Hollywood legends who have stayed here.
