Oscar nominee Tim Roth joins the star-studded cast of Peaky Blinders, also including Cillian Murphy

The big-budget movie version of the hit BBC series, Peaky Blinders, continues to add big names to its lineup. According to Deadline, the movie added Oscar nominee Tim Roth to its impressive lineup. The actor known for his work on Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, has been tapped to play an undisclosed role in the war drama set during World War II.

Tim has won himself an Oscar nomination in the past, for Best Supporting Actor for his work in 'Rob Roy'. He has also had significant roles in such films as Four Rooms and The Hateful Eight. For the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans, Roth will be best remembered for being Emil Blonsky aka Abomination in The Incredible Hulk, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and the latest series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

The star-studded cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, last seen in Dune and Mission: Impossible and Barry Keoghan, whose next project is The Batman The movie will be directed by Tom Harper. According to *Peaky Blinders* creator Steven Knight, further interesting pieces of casting information are on their way. Knight also confirmed that it is a World War II movie and quipped everything regarding the project is going great.

The show's creator, Knight, has decided to bring the story full circle with a feature film, with no seventh season coming soon. The six seasons of this *Peaky Blinders* series were based on the activities of the Shelby family following World War I, and, of course, it's become a bestseller around the globe in no time.

Reports suggest that the movie production of *Peaky Blinders* is soon going to begin in the UK. The release date in the cinema halls is expected to be 2025. As of now, all the six seasons of the show are available online on Netflix.
