The 92nd Academy Awards is all set to take place at
Dolby Theatre
in
Los Angeles
. The prestigious ceremony will be honouring the best films, performances by the actors and more of 2019.
The awards night will be live on Monday (February 10) at 6:30 am IST on a TV channel. Meanwhile, the red carpet will start at 5 am IST. It will be live on the official Twitter handle of the
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
(@TheAcademy).
Films like 'Once Upon A Time in
Hollywood
', 'Parasite', '1917', 'Jojo Rabbit', 'Joker', 'Little Women' and 'Ford v Ferrari' are running the race for the Best Film Award.
Also, following what has worked for the Academy last year, Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, has announced that the 2020 Oscars will have no host. This is the second time in a row the Academy has decided for a hostless event.
The much anticipated 2020 award night will be bankrolled by Oscar-nominated producers Lynette Howell Taylor and
Stephanie Allain
, in their first involvement with the Academy Awards.
