Pierce Brosnan donates proceeds of his GoldenEye pinball machine to Elton John Aids Foundation

Pierce Brosnan recently sold off a pinball machine, a part of his GoldenEye memorabilia and donated the proceeds to the Elton John Aids Foundation. Here’s what he said on his official Instagram account: “Congratulations to the winner of my Sega GoldenEye pinball machine benefitting the Elton John AIDS Foundation. I’m happy to see it find a good home and offer compassionate support to those in need.”
A fan commented: “GoldenEye was my favorite Bond film; they were all great but GoldenEye matched with the N64 game and was like my childhood.” Another fan posted: “the last true James Bond.”

Some fans got emotional and wrote, “GoldenEye will forever be legendary. The movie and the video game and really, the entire Bronsan franchise. After Die Another Day, I wasn't ready to see him replaced.”
The Irish actor enacted the role of James Bond in four memorable films between 1995 and 2002, notably, GoldenEye, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day and Tomorrow Never Dies. Since then, his face has also appeared in multiple video games.

He was the fifth James Bond to play the British secret agent. Pierce Brosnan also appeared in several other films and TV series and acted as Remington Steele in the 1982 TV show.
