PEOPLE reported that Thurman, who stars in the hit TV show ‘Pretty Lethal’, was also there that night. While talking about working with the ‘Kill Bill’ actor, the director stated, “Uma is obviously an icon, and she can play a villain like nobody else can.” She further talked about how versatile her character on screen is, citing that “She has a wicked sense of humor, and she also brings empathy to the character that allows you to stay with the character when the most absurd stuff happens. I don’t think anyone but someone of Uma’s talent could do that.
