Sean Penn lists private Malibu estate for USD 6.5 mn

More than five years after purchasing his 3,200 square-foot mansion in Malibu, actor Sean Penn has decided to put the home up for sale.

Sitting on 1.42 acres of land by the sea, the property features plenty of space for a family or single homeowner with five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, reported E!Online.
"This home is surrounded by lush gardens and includes a detached guest house, making it a great spot to entertain," Redfin real estate agent Alec Traub said.
"It's cool and classy, just like the actor," Traub added.
Located in a gated community on a private cul-de-sac, the single story home also includes a very private detached guest house and a maids/office that is adjacent to the garage.
"Penn purchased the home in 2009 for USD 3.8 million, and it's now listed for USD 6.55 million," Traub revealed.
