The seventh installment of the hugely successful 'Fast and Furious' film franchise will be titled 'Furious 7.' Universal Pictures announced the new title via Facebook, thus becoming the first movie in the film series to not have the word Fast included, according to
Hollywood Reporter.
The film's first poster was also released, featuring the full cast - Dwyane Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, the late
Paul Walker,
Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster.

Production was halted last November due to the tragic death of Walker, who was killed in a car crash when visiting a charity event in Valencia, California, so the use of stunt doubles and CGI were acquired in order to complete the late star's remaining scenes.

The announcement includes the
Furious 7 trailer release date of November 1.
Universal releases the film on April 3, 2015.
