Shekhar sets up challenges for Cate

Cate joked it was difficult to look older for her role as the elderly Virgin Queen, because she looks so fabulous for her age. Director Shekhar Kapur said, “I would say that when I watched Cate in front of the camera I would see an older woman.And as the scene would end I would immediately see a younger woman.” Cate admitted that it was difficult, but Shekhar — who has recently signed a $200 million project with Warner brothers — could extract it out of her.
