Blake Lively and her dragon, Ryan Reynolds, made an appearance on the red carpet on Sunday night for the first time after the battle of lawsuits with Justin Baldoni began. The duo, with all smiles, showed up at the ‘SNL50: The Anniversary Special’ event in New York City.
Lively showed up in her ‘florals,’ wearing a silver sequin-covered gown with diamonds and metallic heels to compliment the outfit, while Ryan wore a classic black tuxedo. The appearance caught the eye quickly after the A-listers stepped out after being on the headlines for quite some time now.
During the skit hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, they were communicating with many celebrities sitting in the audience and asking about how everything was going with them, one of them was Ryan Reynolds. When he was asked the question, the ‘Deadpool’ actor replied with a cryptic answer, “Great! Why, what have you heard?” Suggesting the ongoing battle with Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively lost her smile and quickly glanced at her husband. The hosts reciprocated with multiple gestures for ‘NO’ while the audience laughed their hearts out.

Where he presented the award for the film ‘Wicked,’ while Lively did not prefer the spotlight amid the legal battle, according to Variety.
The event was also attended by Kim Kardashian, Sabrina Carpenter, Will Ferrell, Scarlett Johansson, Colin Jost, Emma Stone, Anya Taylor Joy, Miley Cyrus, Pete Davidson, and many others.
On December 20, 2024, Blake filed a complaint in the Californian Civil Rights Department against her costar, allegedly accusing him of unprofessional behaviour, sexual harassment, and a smear campaign against her. A day later, The New York Times exposed this complaint in the expose ‘We Can Bury Anyone: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.’ After the internet picked this up, many of them questioned Lively for not filing a lawsuit against Baldoni, which 10 days later she did.
Meanwhile, Justin Baldoni filed a defamation case against the expose, and the trial is scheduled to be happening next year.
