The social media world is stumbling from the tragic death of the Mexican influencer Aldo Miranda, who was found dead in his home in La Paz, Baja California Sur on the month of July 8. The local authorities suspect the cause of death to be suicide, though investigations are still ongoing to get a conclusion.
A digital legacy of humor and heart
According to E! Online’s report, Miranda, who amassed over 10 million followers across social media platforms, was known for his comedic skits, reaction videos, and vlogs featuring his favorite restaurants in Mexico. His final post was a promotional video for Temu, shared just days before his passing.
A heartfelt tribute from his management
The Albe Group, co-run by influencers Mario Aguilar and Jesica Gerbautz, shared a moving tribute on social media: “Aldo Miranda was one of those people that life gave me thanks to social networks, but over time it became a true friendship, one of those that feel genuine, close and valuable.”
They continued: “Sometimes the internal battles are silent and we fail to see everything someone carries inside. Aldo decided to leave early, and though that hurts deeply, I want to remember him with the love, light, and joy he left in us.”
Fans respond with love and awareness
Miranda’s comment sections have since been filled with condolences and messages urging others to seek help for mental health struggles. One fan wrote: “Depression is not visible, but it weighs. If you're reading this, stay. There is light after the storm.”
A reminder to check in and reach out
Miranda’s death has sparked renewed conversations around mental health in the creator community. If you or someone you know is struggling, support is available. In every part of the world there are helpline numbers and websites for the people. Self-hurt is after-all never a wise choice.
