While speaking to USA Today, the famed actor reflected on one of his most viral and well-known moments. Calling it a “very funny thing,” the actor further stated, “First of all, I’d like to see anyone really have perspective in that moment in their life, because you don’t have any. It takes me a while – as you can see – to express my thoughts, but I really try to share what I mean to say.”He also added that many people and circumstances were involved in getting him to that stage. In his attempt to include everyone and gather his thoughts, he ended up taking a lot of time for his speech. “I witness people blather on about things that … you know, no one’s criticizing as much,” he also commented.He added that while he knows this, he accepts that the entire situation comes with the life of glitz and glamour. Concluding his statement about his speech, the newly debuted Broadway star stated, “It clearly was a moment of profound contemplation and joy that I needed to try and express as well as I could.
And sometimes I don’t.”
