'Titanic' coming back to movie theatres to mark 25th anniversary

'Titanic' will be sailing back into theatres soon!
Fans wanting to relive the 1998 Academy Award-winning epic will be happy to know that the film is scheduled to release in theatres as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. According to the latest reports, the film is getting mastered and will also have a 3D 4K HDR and high frame rate.
The James Cameron directorial starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, first hit theatres in December of 1997, and is the No.3 movie ever at the global box office with $2.2 billion.
The film stands third on the list of highest-grossing films of all time, just behind 'Avengers: Endgame' and 'Avatar'.
The remastered version of the film is set to be distributed by Disney internationally beginning on February 10, 2023, Deadline confirmed.
Jon Landau first teased the news in Barcelona on Wednesday (June 23), showing off a 3D look at the remastered version.
A 3D version of the film was also released in 2012.
