, the Scottish playwright has adapted McCullin's memoir '
Unreasonable Behaviour
,' which was originally published in 1990 and updated last year to mark his 80th birthday.
The book is an unwavering account of the photographer's journey from a poverty-stricken childhood in wartime London to the most famous war photojournalists of all times.
McCullin served as a lead photographer at the
Sunday Times
and has captured the construction of the Berlin Wall, the war in
Vietnam
, the AIDS epidemic in
Africa
, and the Falklands crisis.

' actor is currently working with director
Christopher Nolan in the World War II thriller '
Dunkirk
'.
