The production, announced last week, will feature Francesca Amewuda Rivers as Juliet and is scheduled to open at the Duke of York Theatre on May 23. However, due to overwhelming demand, the play is also expected to make its way to Broadway following its London run.

Tickets for the London show reportedly sold out within hours, prompting the production's organizer, Jamie Lloyd Company, to consider expanding to Broadway. Although there has been no official confirmation yet, reports suggest that the decision to transfer the play to stage was influenced by its tremendous success in London.

The Mirror reported that director Jamie Lloyd's minimalist adaptation of the classic text has garnered significant attention, particularly due to Holland's involvement as the leading man. Fans are eager to see the star showcase his acting skills on stage, making the play a highly anticipated event. With tickets priced at around £200, the production is expected to be a lucrative venture.

In addition to Holland and Rivers, the cast includes Freema Agyeman, Joshua-Alexander Williams, and others. Both Holland and Rivers expressed excitement about their roles, with Holland stating, that he can’t wait to get started, and he knows they’ll "create something really special together", and Rivers, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to make her West End debut.
