Actress Vanessa Hudgens has announced that she is expecting her second child with husband and former professional baseball player Cole Tucker.

The High School Musical star, shared the news via Instagram on Saturday, posting a series of photos showcasing her baby bump. “Round two!!!!” she captioned the images, which featured her proudly cradling her bare belly.

News of Hudgens’ second pregnancy comes just days after she confirmed her next film role, signalling a busy and exciting time ahead for the actress both personally and professionally.

Hudgens and Tucker’s love story began in 2020, when they met through a Zoom meditation group hosted by Jay Shetty. Hudgens made the first move, sliding into Tucker’s DMs with a simple “Nice to meet you.”

Their love story quickly blossomed and they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mexico in December 2023. The couple welcomed their first child in July 2024, having revealed the pregnancy earlier that year during a red carpet appearance at the Oscars. Since then, the pair have kept details about their first child rather private.

Hudgens has spoken candidly about the challenges of motherhood, calling it “the hardest, most exhausting but also incredibly fulfilling and joyous chapter of my life.”

She has also spoken about protecting the privacy of her family. The momy to be, called out the intrusive pictures taken after her discharge in 2024, saying, "We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited... but mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy."
