The second trailer of the film '
X-Men: Dark Phoenix
' was just unveiled and we can see Jean Grey (played by
Sophie Turner) being the ultimate and the most powerful foe the
X-Men
had to ever face. Set nearly a decade after the events shown in the last film, 'X-Men: Apocalypse', the film is the fourth installment of the X-Men series featuring younger versions of the original characters.
'X-Men: Dark Phoenix' is directed by
Simon Kinberg, who has written and produced several past 'X-Men film'. The writer will make his directorial debut with this film. The film is expected to clear the confusion regarding the timeline of the X-men universe.

The trailer opens with Jean Grey unleashing her powers and is confused to trust her X-Men family.
Jessica Chastain plays a shapeshifter character named Smith who tries to convince Grey that she is special and needs to embrace the force inside her.
'X-Men: Dark Phoenix' stars Sophie Turner,
Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, and Jessica Chastain. The film is slated to hit the screens on June 6, 2019 in the US.
