This year witnessed quite a few celebrity couples parting ways and the latest duo to join the bandwagon is of Hollywood star Johnny Depp and his wife Amber Heard. Johnny and Amber got married in February last year when the former was 51 and latter was 28. However, in an unfortunate turn of events, their marriage has ended in less than one-and-a-half year. As per a report on Spotboye.com, Amber filed for divorce and the court documents say they legally separated on May 22, 2016. Amber has cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the divorce. The report further suggests that Amber wants Johnny to pay spousal support. She wants Johnny to pay for her attorney fees too. It’s been a year and three months that the couple had an ultra secret tropical wedding on February 3, 2015.

Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith's $240 mn divorce?

Star couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are reportedly ending their rocky marriage after 17 years with a secret divorce deal, reports IANS. "For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time," a source told Radaronline.com. "They're exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union. They've decided to pull the plug in a carefully choreographed manner, (and) agree announcing their split at the end of the summer is the right move," the source added. They have already "worked out a confidential settlement to protect their $240 million fortune, and prepare their children (son Jaden, 17, and daughter Willow, 14) for the fallout," said the source. Hinting at their split earlier this year in an interview, the Bad Boys actor, 46, admitted that their marriage had 'died'. Meanwhile, Pinkett Smith, 43, seemed to acknowledge Will's notorious wandering eye, telling Howard Stern, "I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man." She later added that she's fine with Will's ways, "as long as Will can look himself in the mirror and be okay." Rumours started since 2013 that Will romanced his Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie. He's also been photographed without his wedding ring. Pinkett Smith also allegedly cheated in 2011 with Hawthorne co-star Marc Anthony. "They tried to fix things with therapy, (but) it's not happening," explained the source. Another source said, "They're already moving on with their lives. All that's left is the inking of the divorce papers."

Clint Eastwood and Dina Ruiz: 83 year old Clint Eastwood split from his TV presenter wife Dina Ruiz after 17 years of marriage. The couple are said to have split this year but were living apart since June 2012 when Eastwood apparently fell out of love with his then wife Dina. The two have one daughter together, Morgan. While the 50 year old Dina is said to have rekindled her romance with high school sweetheart Scott Fisher, Clint Eastwood is allegedly dating Scott’s ex wife Erica! A classic case of wife swapping?

Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana: Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper were reportedly in an on and off relationship for two years, from December 2011 to January 2013. The reason for the break up is allegedly their fight over Cooper’s ex girlfriend, actress Renee Zellweger. Renee had apparently sent the actor a note and some flowers after she saw his performance in Silver Linings Playbook. Saldana seemed angry and soon moved on when she secretly tied the knot with Italian artist Marco Perego in June 2013 in London. Bradley Cooper began dating Suki Waterhouse but broke up with her. He is now reportedly dating Irina Shayk.

Stacy Keibler and George Clooney: TV host Stacy Keibler dated Hollywood superstar George Clooney for two years before calling it quits. Clooney was in the past married to actress Talia Balsam and the couple divorced in 1993. Clooney who has had a string of girlfriends before, apparently said that he would never marry again. Stacey on the other hand was keen to get married and have babies but the TV host also apparently denied that, saying that was not the reason for her split with Clooney. George is currently married to lawyer Amal Alamuddin.

Richard Gere and Cary Lowell- Hollywood hunk Richard Gere called it quits with Carey Lowell, his wife of 11 years. Gere was earlier married to super model Cindy Crawford and it is said that it was the age gap between them that caused the drift. While things seemed to go steady with wife Cary Lowell, the couple are now estranged and as per sources, have been living separately for a while.

Kris and Bruce Jenner: After 22 years of marriage reality TV star Kris Jenner (57) ended her marriage with former Olympian Bruce Jenner. The couple apparently was not in a healthy marriage and Kris allegedly cheated on her husband. While they have children from their previous marriages, Bruce and Kris together have two kids together: Kendall and Kylie. Bruce Jenner under went a gender transformation and is now called Caitlyn Jenner.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom: The two love birds of Hollywood called it quits, taking all by surprise! The couple officially made a joint statement in October this year, announcing their separation. In totality, the two have been together for six years and also have a son: two-year-old Flynn. They say the split is amicable and will soon formalize their separation as they will get divorced. Orlando and Miranda had been denying the rumours that arose a few months ago, in the hopes of keeping the press away. But it seems that the couple could not hide it anymore. Orlando allegedly even said that their busy careers were responsible for the break up.

Rupert Sanders and Liberty Ross- Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders cheated on his model wife Liberty Ross with Twilight actress Kristen Stewart. The two were clicked kissing publicly. At that point, Kristen was already in a relationship with her Twilight co actor Robert Pattinson. When Pattison and Liberty Ross heard of the cheating, both called it quits with their respective partners. While Pattinson and Stewart tried to reconcile many times, Liberty went ahead to divorce her husband.

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus: The singer and actor met on the sets of ‘The Last Song’. Both Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth seemed inseparable. The young couple was also engaged for a year. But apparently things were not going great between the two. Liam’s closeness to actress January Jones seemed to be the reason for the split. Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence: The Oscar winning actress was dating the X-Men: Days of Future Past actor have split. The duo were said to have rekindled their relationship after breaking up in 2013 but it now seems the duo have called it quits for good. According to Lawrence's interview to Marie Claire, she was quoted saying that she was not ready to take her relationship with Hoult to the next level. Post that, Jennifer began dating Chris Martin after he split from his wife Gwyneth Paltrow. According to a report on PTI, Nicholas Hoult reportedly wants to rekindle his relationship with "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence.

Ashley Judd and Franchitti- Ashley Judd split from her racing driver husband Dario Franchitti. The couple was together for a period of 11 years before calling it quits this year. But fate seemed to bring them back together when Judd’s husband had a violent car crash at the Grand Prix in Houston later this year. The crash made Ashley realize how much she loved him and the couple are said to have reunited.
