Music producer Benny Blanco finally broke his silence about all those rumors swirling online about his hygiene, after a moment from his new podcast set the internet on fire. It all kicked off when people spotted Blanco barefoot and, with some pretty dirty feet, during the first episode of his podcast, ‘Friends Keep Secrets’.
The whole thing blew up fast. Social media went wild, not just roasting Blanco for his feet but dragging Selena Gomez, his wife, into the mess. People started questioning her taste in men and everything. Blanco didn’t dodge the criticism, though. Per E! News, both the musicians agreed that if anyone on the show should be catching heat for their smell, it’s Lil Dicky. Ed even sniffed Lil Dicky’s bellybutton and declared it smelled like a “bum hole,” begging for something to get rid of the stench. Benny just joked, “Mine smells like nothing.”
Benny even doubled down: “It’s the facility’s fault, not mine.” He even flashed his foot for the camera, insisting, “Look at that. Clean foot!” He turned the whole debate into a running joke, proving he wasn’t taking it too seriously.

The ‘Good For You’ songstress seems totally unfazed by the controversy. Right after the controversy exploded, per E! News, she posted an Instagram Story of the two of them kissing, writing, “I fall more and more in love with you every day my love.” Even better, she joined in on the joke during another podcast episode, kissing Benny’s foot on camera and laughing it off.
Benny even called Selena an “independent woman” and admitted he tries hard not to act lovesick all the time. Talking about that silly foot kiss, he swooned, “It made my day!”
