Halle Bailey secures restraining order against ex-boyfriend DDG amidst assault allegations

Actress Halle Bailey has been granted a restraining order against her former partner and father of her child, rapper DDG (Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.). This legal action follows Bailey's accusations of multiple instances of physical and verbal assault by DDG, a report in TMZ suggests.

Allegations of Physical and Verbal Abuse Following Breakup
According to report, the restraining order was sought after Bailey detailed alleged incidents of domestic violence that occurred following their breakup in October 2024. Text messages and photographic evidence submitted by Bailey reportedly describe instances dating back to January 2025. One alleged incident involved DDG becoming enraged during a discussion about revised visitation hours for their son, Halo, born in December 2023. Bailey claims DDG yelled verbal abuse at her, including "Get out of my car, B**CH!" in front of their child, causing Halo to cry.

Evidence of Injuries and Assault During Visitation
Bailey reportedly presented photo evidence of injuries, including bruises and a chipped tooth, which she alleges were sustained when DDG slammed her into the steering wheel of a car during a visitation pickup. Her testimony further claims that she felt compelled to accompany DDG after these attacks due to fear. Images of her bruised arms and chipped tooth were allegedly shared with DDG's family shortly after the incidents.

Further Allegations of Harassment and Intrusive Behavior
Since March 2025, Bailey has reportedly accumulated additional evidence against DDG. This includes an alleged incident where he broke into her home, took a picture of her empty bed, and sent it to her with a text message insinuating infidelity. Bailey also alleges that DDG damaged her Ring camera, stole her phone, and threw it out of his car, telling her to "GO GET IT, B**CH."

Court Mandates Distance and Social Media Restrictions
The court has ordered DDG to stay at least 100 yards away from Halle Bailey and their son, Halo. Furthermore, while Bailey and Halo are in Italy for a two-month filming project, DDG is reportedly prohibited from sharing any social media content pertaining to them.
