    The Linkin Park vocalist reportedly hanged himself at his Palos Verdes residence on Thursday-- which would have been his late friend Chris Cornell's 53rd birthday.

    "Shocked and heartbroken, but it's true," Shinoda, who co-founded Linkin Park in 1996, wrote.



    Rihanna shared Bennington's picture on Instagram, writing "Literally the most impressive talent I've ever seen live! Vocal beast! #RIPChester #LinkinPark."


    Timberlake tweeted, "RIP to Chester Bennington and my sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and the Linkin Park family. Truly unique, humble frontman."



    Chance shared, "RIP Chester. Tragic ending. Condolences his family and friends and Linkin Park."



    Stormzy wrote, "I am heartbroken you do not know what someone's going through serious. Prayers up for your family right now my brother."

    ​Popular South comedian, director and producer Manobala passed away at sixty-nine in Chennai on May 3, 2023.​

    He was suffering from pancreatic issues for which he was being treated.​

    ​Manobala acted in around 700 movies, directed around 40 movies and produced a few movies as well. ​

    Manobala was known for his work in the Tamil film industry.

    He will be taken to his home in Chennai for people to pay their last respects.​

    Noted actor-writer-director Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 in Gurugram on March 9, 2023. His body will be brought to Mumbai after a postmortem is conducted. His best friend and close associate Anupam Kher took to Twitter to announce the sad news.

    Anupam Kher tweeted, “जानता हूँ “मृत्यु ही इस दुनिया का अंतिम सच है!” पर ये बात मैं जीते जी कभी अपने जिगरी दोस्त #SatishKaushik के बारे में लिखूँगा, ये मैंने सपने में भी नहीं सोचा था।45 साल की दोस्ती पर ऐसे अचानक पूर्णविराम !! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH ! ओम् शांति! 💔💔” Anupam Kher also shared a black and white photo where he and Satish Kaushik were seen together.

    Satish Kaushik was born on April 13, 1956. He was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India. Satish Kaushik started his career in theatre. He became a household name as Calendar in Shekhar Kapur’s superhit film ‘Mr India.’ He had also made an impact with movies ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaro,’ ‘Woh 7 Din’ and ‘Mandi.’

    Satish Kaushik made a transition to direction with Bollywood film ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja.’

    ‘Tere Naam’ and ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’ are some of his popular films as director.
