Jay-Z's former business partner compares him to villain Penguin from DC Comics amid the ongoing legal drama around the rape allegations

Jay-Z is trying every trick in the book to get rid of the rap and other sexual abuse allegations imposed on him in 2024. During the ongoing legal drama, every day a new accusation surfaces, adding more layers to the case. And now amid the scandal, Jay-Z’s former business partner Damon Dash has publicly criticized him.

According to reports of the Blast, Dash used words like ‘ruthless’ to describe Jay-Z. He then compared him to the villain Penguin from DC Comics.

During an interview on ‘The Art of Dialogue’, Damon Dash reflected on his long-standing feud with Jay-Z. It began around twenty years ago when they worked together at Roc-A-Fella Records. According to Damon, Jay-Z sabotaged all of his business ventures. He specifically talked about an incident from the year 2005 - allegedly Jay-Z distanced himself from their co-founded clothing brand Rocawear. Jay-Z took this decision just before a significant deal with Tommy Hilfiger was finalized. Reportedly, this move by Jay-Z cost around $40 million.

Having said that, the Blast reported that Damon Dash didn’t share his view on the recent rape allegations. He only expressed his anger and frustration on the financial distress he had to go through because of the disgraced rapper and remained indifferent to the recent allegations.

Meanwhile, as aforementioned, Jay-Z is fighting tooth and nail to clear his name. Recently, reports were also doing the rounds that Jay-Z’s loyalties only lie with himself, and if given a chance will not hesitate in throwing Sean Diddy Combs under the bus to save himself.
