His social media post came at a time when his former close friend Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing heat behind bars for alleged sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking.
“How can I really believe Jesus is with me?” the 30-year-old Justin Bieber asked, before answering: “Well for me Justin, it's [sic] simply his goodness that keeps convincing me.”
The singer continued to speak about his spiritual journey and said, “Every time I thought he wouldn't [sic] show up for me he always has, I'm convinced he's [sic] the perfect patient presence that guides, directs, and leads me all the days of my life providing, healing, restoring all that the enemy tried to destroy and steal.”
Though the message is very powerful with the intent of offering hope to the one who can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, netizens couldn’t help but notice the timing of the post. As aforementioned, it came amid ongoing legal drama surrounding Combs.
Not too long ago, reports were doing the rounds that Bieber had been struggling mentally due to his past association with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. According to Page Six, sources close to Justin revealed that it has been difficult for the singer to process the scandal.
As the scandal grew, insiders claimed Justine was "disgusted" by the allegations. People close to him told the pop icon to maintain a distance from Sean. Several others who cared about the singer told him to embrace the bliss of being a father to his newborn son, Jack Blues.
One source told Page Six, "His happiness being a dad has outweighed his anxiety about Diddy," while another shared, “It’s in his past, and that’s where he wants to leave it.”
