The Emmy-winning composer shared the new music on Instagram shortly after posting a cryptic message on March 13, where he wrote "F*** Columbia" and "Double F*** Euphoria." No context, no explanation. Just that. The post spread fast, and the unreleased track that followed has since sparked speculation among fans, many of whom believe it could be connected to the upcoming 'Euphoria' Season 3 soundtrack. Others in the comments were even more direct, saying the series simply would not feel the same without his music.

What actually happened between Labrinth and 'Euphoria' season 3

Labrinth had been expected to return for 'Euphoria' Season 3, which premieres on April 12. The new season, created by Sam Levinson, will also feature music from Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer, who joined the project last year. When that collaboration was first announced, Labrinth had publicly expressed excitement about working alongside one of his long-time inspirations and bringing something fresh to the series. After his recent posts, however, it remains unclear whether the music he composed will even appear in the upcoming season.
